Design Process
In any website production process, the area where valuable time can be lost is in the design of the look and feel for the site, but this is especially true where deadlines are so tight. The unique web:4:sme design process is ideal in these circumstances because it has been produced to eliminate areas of ambiguity.
Step 1 - The Design Brief
This document can be completed either online, or as a word file. Greenfields returned this brief for us to work from.
Step 2 - Site Design Round 1
Our design team came back with the following options for Greenfields.

At this stage the first thing to note is that this was not meant to be an "either/or" choice. We created these two designs as a stake in the ground from the brief. Greenfields provided comment and feedback on what they liked/disliked about these two to enable us to produce a further third design which was very close to a final design.
Step 3 - Site Design Round 2
We took the feedback and developed a third design.

Greenfields provided additional minor feedback.
Step 4 - Site Design Round 3
After minor tweaks, this was selected as the final design

Site Build
Having selected the final design we were able to begin the build process. Within the Starter Package, 10 finished pages are included. Any additional pages were added by Greenfields themselves.
The Result
The site was completed in time for the media coverage and can be seen at:
Greenfields have a great looking site, are able update their site whenever they wish and are now undertaking a programme of search engine optimisation.
Testimonial
"I am delighted with the new site and I have already had excellent feedback from my customers and partners. John and Gill were superb to work with, they made the whole process easy to understand and despite the tough deadline they gave me a great deal of control. Going forwards, it is good to know that I can change my website as and when I need to. I would definitely recommend web:4:sme to any small business looking for a really professional and flexible website."
